I'll start this blog off with where I left off on Tumblr (which I have now closed down as it just wasn't working for me)

One of the current models I am working on - this one is done with Newplast Polymer clay is that of my 4 year old daughter.
Progress so far: I have the general proportions of the head correct - the main focus is now getting the detailing of eyes, nose and mouth correct - while keeping the "spirit" of the character of the portrait .

Portrait is full size - ratio 1 to 1.
